There is no throttle to ride without pedaling, so this green C22 counts as a regular electric bike: no license, registration, or helmet required. We advise against tuning it up, as you will lose the legal category and warranty, and the lightweight frame is not designed for it.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

On the narrow CST tires, you roll lightly and smoothly over streets and bike paths. The hydraulic TEKTRO disc brakes bring you to a quick and controlled stop, even when wet, and LED lights front and rear keep you visible in the dark.
