Which fatbike accessories do you need first

Start with the essentials. A chain lock or folding lock from LOCK-R is mandatory for almost everyone, especially in urban areas. The ART-approved models (Art 2, Art 3, and Art 4) are also required by many insurers for fatbikes. Add a tracker like the Loqater locator or a Chipolo so you can recover your bike in case of theft. A phone holder is handy if you use navigation on the go, and a rain cover protects your fatbike from weather if it’s parked outside. For daily commuting, a bike bell and a few reflectors are often the cheapest safety upgrades you can make. Basic tools for on the road, like a multitool and a small pump, should also be in your bike bag.

For those who bring a child along

Do you ride with a child on the back? We have child seats from Qibbel for ages 0 to 6 and larger rear seats from OUXI for children up to about 8 years old. The OUXI rear seats specifically fit the V8, H9, and V20. When choosing a child seat, also consider footrests and a passenger cushion. For young passengers, a front rack complete with a seat is also an option, provided your fatbike has enough space for it.

Compatibility per model

Accessories are sometimes universal, sometimes model-specific. Universal ones include locks, trackers, phone holders, bike bells, rain covers, and hand warmers. These work on any fatbike. Model-specific accessories are mainly footrests, child seats, wiring harnesses, and front carriers. For the OUXI V8 and H9, there are separate wiring harnesses, footrests, and saddles in the collection. For the V20 and V20 Pro, you’ll find matching child seats, footrests, and a windscreen. For the OUXI C80 and C80 Mini, there are specific footrests. Many OUXI accessories work for the S20 Pro because the frame is the same. So first filter by your model before ordering, then you’ll only see what fits.
