Two AGM models, three variants in total. The AGM GT250 is the best-known model and has a high step-through. In addition, there are two versions of the AGM Goccia: the Comfort with a low step-through and the Sport with a high step-through. All AGM fatbikes here share the same base: 20-inch wheels, a 250W motor, and pedal assistance up to 25 km per hour. This makes them legal on public roads in the Netherlands, without a license or helmet requirement. Which one you choose mainly depends on how you prefer to mount and which color you like best.

AGM GT250: high step-through in three colors

The GT250 is the AGM model most people think of right away. High step-through, wide frame, recognizable look. Available here in green, blue, and gray. Because of the wider frame, you sit a bit sportier than on a Goccia, and when starting off, the balance feels immediately stable. What stands out is that the GT250 still handles well even with a passenger on the back, although that’s not a permanent situation the bike is designed for. The GT250 has hydraulic disc brakes and a removable battery, so you can plug it in indoors without having to carry the whole bike.

AGM Goccia Comfort and Sport

The Goccia comes in two versions. The Comfort has a low step-through, handy if you don’t want to swing your leg over a high frame or if you often carry something on the rear rack. The Sport has a high step-through and a slightly more active riding position, comparable to the GT250 but with its own frame. Otherwise, the specs are largely the same: same 250W motor, same 20-inch tires, all available in black, white, and red. The difference between Comfort and Sport is mainly in the frame and how you sit on the bike, not in how it rides or pulls. For those who frequently get on and off, for example at traffic lights or with a bag, the Comfort is often more practical. The Sport appeals to people who want to feel a bit more "bike."

What do you technically get with an AGM fatbike

Under each of these models is the same base. A 250W motor with pedal assistance up to 25 km per hour, a 750 Wh battery, and a range of around 60 kilometers per full charge. No throttle, so fully compliant with Dutch law for electric bikes. No helmet requirement, no license plate, no driver's license. The weight is around 45 kilos. That is normal for a fatbike, but something to keep in mind if you don't have a lift or want to store the bike on an upper floor. For most uses, commuting to work or the store, that weight is manageable in practice. A good lock is recommended, fatbikes are unfortunately often stolen.
