Ouxi V8 battery: 48V battery for your fatbike

Is the battery of your OUXI V8 due for replacement, or do you want a spare for longer rides? This 48V, 15Ah lithium battery is the original battery that fits all OUXI V8 and H9 models. With a fully charged battery, you can travel about 50 to 60 kilometers, depending on how much you use pedal assist. In full electric mode, you’ll get around 30 to 40 kilometers.

The battery weighs about 4.5 kg and is easy to remove from the bike. This is handy if you want to charge it indoors, for example overnight. Charging from empty to full takes about 6 to 7 hours. You can also leave it in the bike and connect the charger directly. The display or the button on the battery itself shows how full it is.

What’s in the box

You receive the battery itself, including the key to lock it into the frame. A charger is not included by default. If you also need a new one, check the OUXI parts.

Good to know for charging

Do not place the battery adapter on the saddle while charging. The adapter can get warm, and you don’t want that on a leather or plastic saddle. Place the charger on a hard, flat surface. And one more thing: do not charge the battery if the temperature is below freezing. That shortens its lifespan.
