Buy ADO e-bikes at GOfatbike

ADO is an e-bike brand that has grown rapidly in Europe. The reason is simple: they offer technologies you normally only see on more expensive bikes, such as BAFANG motors with automatic gears, belt drive, and a torque sensor. At GOfatbike, we have two ADO models in our range: the ADO Air One Pro and the ADO Air One Ultra. Both are available in the colors Moonlight Gray and Morning Dew. The Air One Pro features a BAFANG 2-speed automatic motor with 40Nm torque. The Air One Ultra takes it a step further with a 3-speed automatic BAFANG motor. Both bikes have a low step-through frame, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 37V 10Ah battery with a range of up to 100 km. Belt drive and automatic shifting

The biggest difference with other e-bikes in this price range is the drivetrain. While most bikes have a chain, ADO e-bikes use a belt. This means much less maintenance: no oil, no wear, no grease on your clothes. Such a belt lasts tens of thousands of kilometers before you need to think about replacing it. The BAFANG motor shifts automatically between gears. You don’t have to do anything yourself; the bike adjusts the gear based on your speed. With the Air One Ultra’s 3-speed gears, you especially notice this when starting off and on bridges. The transition between gears is smooth and without hesitation. Additionally, there is a torque sensor, not a motion sensor. The difference: a torque sensor measures how hard you pedal and provides exactly the support you need. This feels much more natural when accelerating and at varying speeds. A motion sensor always gives the same push, regardless of whether you’re just starting or already at speed. The torque sensor adapts accordingly.

Battery and display

The ADO Air One Pro and Air One Ultra both have a 37V 10Ah battery integrated into the frame. Charging takes 4 to 6 hours, and the battery is removable so you can charge it indoors without carrying the bike. The manufacturer states a range of up to 100 km, but in practice, this depends on your weight, the wind, and the level of assistance. Expect about 50 to 70 km with normal use. The handlebar features a 2.4-inch IPS color display that is waterproof. Through the ADO app, you can set navigation on the display and track your ride data. Both models also have front and rear lights, including an IPX5 waterproof 1200-lumen headlight.

Compact e-bike with low step-through frame

The ADO Air One Pro and Ultra both weigh around 25 kg and have 20-inch wheels. This makes them compact enough for easy storage and agile in busy traffic. The low step-through frame makes it easy to get on and off, even if you are a bit shorter (suitable from 150 cm). Both bikes have an MIK click system on the rear rack, allowing you to attach a pannier or child seat with a click. No extra brackets needed. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg. The adjustable and lockable front fork absorbs bumps and curbs but can also be locked if you prefer a firmer steering feel. Both models are CE and SGS certified, and the 250W motor supports speeds up to 25 km/h, fully legal on public roads without a license or helmet.
